The 57th Annual Boat Show is returning to Detroit starting this Valentine’s Day until February 22nd. The show is the original, best and biggest boat show in the state. They will be featuring hundreds of new 2014 and new non-current model boats, trailers, motors and accessories.
If you love checking out pontoons, cruisers, kayaks, race boats and more, this show is for you. Whether you want to purchase a boat this year or just want to see the new models in person, here is a look at event taking place at the Cobo Center.
What to expect
Get ready to check out the newest boats at this year’s Detroit Boat Show. You’ll get to check out model boats, motors, trailers, accessories from 10 to 50 feet in length. They will have:
- Fishing boats
- Ski boats
- Personal watercraft
- Race boats
- Antique boats
There will be special attractions like the sailing simulator, the rail jam and the new water rollerz. You can also meet a mermaid, get new boat model instructions for the 2015 model boats, see the bat boat to commemorate Batman vs. Superman and check out the kids sailing simulator.
Many people come to the show to purchase and there will be hundreds of boats for sales. Over 100 of Michigan’s best boat dealers and marine businesses will be present for the event. It’s going to be a great time to buy with the best prices and selection under one roof.
The event is going to run from February 14th-22nd starting at 11am. On Saturday, Friday and Monday the event starts at 11am and ends at 9pm. On Sundays, it will last from 11am-6pm while Tuesday, Weds and Thurs will go from 3pm-9pm. Admission is $12 for adults while children under 13 are free with an adult.
